Also called shared cards, community cards are cards which are shared by all the poker players. These are placed face up in the center of the table during the game. Community cards are combined with the hole cards of each player in order to make a complete hand. The number of community cards to be used depends on the rules of the poker game being played.
There are a lot of community card poker games. Nowadays, texas holdem is the most popular one. Other poker games include omaha holdem, tic tac toe, iron cross, crazy pineapple, chowaha, and manila.
