Pineapple - Each player gets three cards. Player will discard one card before the flop. With only two cards, the players will play like the regular texas holdem and make the best hand.

Crazy Pineapple – Each player receives three cards. Player will discard one card after the flop. Play like the regular texas holdem.

Manila – This is a stripped deck game in which cards below the rank of 7 are removed.

Here are some accepted rules of behavior in a texas holdem poker game:
  • Do not give advice or talk to a player who is in a hand. One common rule is "one player per hand".
  • Avoid using foul words.
  • Do not fold out of turn.
  • Do not show your cards during a hand.
  • Do not splash the pot. Avoid throwing chips across the table.
  • Keep your cards at the table.
  • Avoid criticizing other players and the way they play the game.
  • Focus on the game. Do not wait to be reminded that it is your turn.
Texas holdem etiquette is important even when playing online. Avoid anything that can slow down a game such as sending messages to other players. Pay attention to the game so everyone can have fun.
