Texas Holdem Etiquette
Here are some accepted rules of behavior in a texas holdem poker game:
- Do not give advice or talk to a player who is in a hand. One common rule is "one player per hand".
- Avoid using foul words.
- Do not fold out of turn.
- Do not show your cards during a hand.
- Do not splash the pot. Avoid throwing chips across the table.
- Keep your cards at the table.
- Avoid criticizing other players and the way they play the game.
- Focus on the game. Do not wait to be reminded that it is your turn.
